Sensational
Thinning
Technology
Daikin achieved a 25% reduction in the depth of the indoor unit to a mere 150 mm by applying their unique technologies, including a slide-opening system, a high efficiency slit fin heat exchanger, and a brand new cross flow fan with a smaller diameter.
Slide-Opening SystemOptimum airflow performance is ensured by the moving front panel. On start of operation, the entire front panel slides outward to uncover the air inlet. At the same time, the flap deploys to reveal the air outlet. This innovative front panel design provides smooth movement and saves space.

High Effiency Slit Fin Heat Exchanger
Narrower gaps between the fins increase the available heat transfer surface area by 10%. The slit fin heat exchanger reduces airflow resistance to maintain top performance. And the use of a single/dual row combined heat exchanger makes possible an even thinner design.
Small Diameter Cross Flow Fan
A brand new cross flow fan with an optimized blade configuration is employed in the outdoor unit. The new configuration has enabled a 20% reduction in the diameter of the fan and achieves quiet operation while providing a powerful airflow.
Superb
Energy
Efficiency
Superb energy efficiency is achieved by applying innovative three energy-saving technologies, a reluctance DC motor and DC fan motor, a swing compressor and PAM control.
Daikin has further improved the energy efficiency and realized substantial energy savings compared to conventional models by achieving an industrial top-class COP of over 4 for both cooling and heating operations.
Reluctance DC Motor and DC Fan Motor

Energy efficiency has been improved by application of a reluctance DC compressor motor that uses powerful neodymium magnets, which are approximately 10 times stronger than ferrite magnets. A DC fan motor has been employed as the fan motor and its fine rotation control greatly improved energy consumption.
Swing Compressor
Energy efficiency is increased by reducing operational friction and refrigerant gas leakage while minimizing the noise levels.
PAM Control
Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) control reduces energy loss by controlling how often the converter switches on and off.
Clean,

Airflow
The world's first air-purifying filter to employ Titanium Apatite Photocatalyst eliminates odour and deactivates bacteria and viruses. You can enjoy clean and comfortable air delivered quietly and naturally.
![]()
Micron-scale fibers trap dust while titanium apatite adsorbs organic contaminants such as bacteria and viruses. In addition, the titanium oxide is activated by natural light, allowing it to break down and eliminate odours. The filter effectively deactivates bacteria and viruses. It lasts for three years without replacement if washed about once every six months.

The Titanium Apatite Photocatalyst contains apatite, which thoroughly adsorbs bacteria and viruses. The powerful oxidizing power of the photocatalyst enables it to break down odour components in an instant. Viruses are deactivated by being turned into clumps of protein.
Indoor/Outdoor Unit Silent Operation function offers an industry top-level quiet operation of 27 dB for the indoor unit and 43 dB for the outdoor unit, which brings us a peace of comfort.
27 dB is so quiet you can even hear whispers

Comfortable mode is a draft-prevention method of operation that delivers airflow softly to prevent direct blowing of cold or warm air. During cooling operation the flap angle is fixed to almost horizontal to prevent cold air from directly blowing on the body, while during heating operation it is fixed to almost vertically downward to send the warmth directly to the feet.

Vertical Auto-Swing automatically moves the flaps up and down to ensure an even distribution of cool or warm air from ceiling to floor. Horizontal Auto-Swing automatically moves the louvers left and right to spread air consistently across the room. 3-D Airflow combines Vertical and Horizontal Auto-Swing to circulate air to every part of the room, providing uniform cooling or heating of even large spaces.
