NOTES

  1. The Rated Capacity, Power Input and Running Current are determined under conditions T1 (cooling) or H1 (heating) of AS/NZS 3823.1.1
  2. The cooling (or heating) output capacity will be reduced below the rated value as the outdoor temperature approaches the maximum (or minimum) outdoor temperature operating range limit.
  3. Indoor unit sound levels are determined in an anechoic chamber at a distance of 1 metre from the front of the unit. They are normally higher during actual operation due to ambient noise.
  4. The current Energy Star Rating Scheme does not cover the determination of seasonal or part load efficiencies, which provide a better indication of effiency under actual operating conditions. For this reason, the energy savings potential of inverter air conditioners is not reflected in the Star Rating.
  5. Inverter air conditioners do not have a current surge during start up. The compressor Start Current of an inverter air conditioner is typically the lower than specified Running Current.

Dual Flap System

This unique system directs warm air to the floor in winter and cool air upwards in summer for maximum efficiency and comfort. The large flap governs air flow directions while the small flap (or diffuser) swings, producing fine air currents that help circulate the air around the room.

Wide-Angle Louvres

These unique flexible louvres, with their innovative curved design, allow the air flow to be directed at angles of up to 60° from the centre, or 120° coverage.

Powerful Mode

By pressing the POWERFUL button on the remote controller intense hot or cool air is discharged at high fan speed to quickly cool or heat the room. When the Powerful Mode is turned off, the air conditioner returns to its previous settings.

New Powerful Mode

In addition to the above features, the the New Powerful Mode the air conditioner automatically returns to its previous settings after 20 minutes.

Air Purifying Filter

The Air Purifying Filters trap fine dust 0.01 microns or larger in size, to purify and deodorise the air in your room.

Filter Indicator

Dust deposited on the filter is unhygienic and also reduces air conditioning efficiency. The warning indicator lights up to remind you to check the filter.

Easy-To-Use LCD Wireless Remote Control

The remote controller puts comfort at your finger tips. Frequently used buttons are instantly accessible while other preset buttons are under the cover of the remote (except for FVY models). A large liquid crystal panel makes it easy to read the settings and the On/Off button has raised dots so that you can feel it in the dark.

On/Off Switch on Indoor Unit

A convenient On/Off Switch on the indoor unit allows you to start up the system even if you have misplaced the remote controller or the remote controller batteries are exhausted.

Auto Restart

The unit memorises the operation mode, air flow setting, temperature and timing settings so that, should there be a power failure when the unit is in operation, it will automatically return to the same operating conditions when the power is restored.

Auto Operation

For unattended year round comfort, this function allows the unit to automatically switch between heating and cooling modes as required.

Auto Fan Speed

To reduce operating noise the fan speed is automatically controlled by the microprocessor to suit the thermostat setting and room temperature.

Self Diagnosis

In the event that a problem develops with the unit, malfunction codes are displayed on the liquid crystal panel of the remote controller for fast and easy maintenance.

On/Off Timer

The air conditioner can be programmed to automatically commence operating after 1 to 12 hours of elapsed time. It can also be programmed to switch off after 1 to 9 hours of operation. On some models the On and Off Timers can be programmed to operate at any time within 24 hours.

Night Set Mode

Through the use of the "Timer-OFF Circuit", the preset room temperature gently rises or falls before the unit stops. This energy-saving feature allows you to sleep comfortably without feeling a sudden change in room temperature, while at the same time saving energy.

Program "Dry"

This function automatically reduces the level of humidity while maintaining the preset room temperature.

Hot Start

When the heating operation starts or when the unit changes from defrosting to heating there is no cold draught released into the room.

Anti-Corrosion

The special anti-corrosion coating on the outdoor unit heat exchanger ensures greater resistance to salt damage and atmospheric pollution.

Neuro-Heat Sensitive Control

In this mode, rather than setting a desired room temperature, you simply tell the air conditioner that you are either "too hot" or "too cold". The microprocessor stores and processes your comfort requirements in relation to inside and outside conditions. By building up a history of your comfort preferences the air conditioner is able to program itself to meet your requirements automatically when it is turned on.

Laundry Mode

The air conditioner will automatically select the optimum mode to dry a small quantity of damp washing. The timer can be set to run in this mode for up to 9 hours. If you do not set the timer the air conditioner will automatically switch off after 3 hours.

Washable Grille

The front grille is detachable to allow easy cleaning.

The Outdoor Unit

Prevents exhaust from being sucked back in due to obstructions such as a wall near the outdoor unit. Can easily be installed in narrow spaces such as alleys.
